Every once in awhile I take on personal client work, especially if it allows me to challenge or expand myself creatively. Owners of successful jazz club Reservoir Lounge, had an opportunity for just that.
Planning on opening an elevated UK style pub with an upscale twist on the menu, they needed a brand to capture this feeling in a modern but classic way. Working with my clients and an interior design firm, I ensured that what I created would blend with the exterior and the interior in a simple but elegant manner.
As you can see above, I created a custom crest with specific style of illustration, usage of typography, colour and as well I wanted to add decorative elements using a metalic gold to add elegance that would be specific to exterior and interior items. Below is the exterior execution of elements.
